Obituary for Kathleen E Tighe
BARRE- Kathleen E. (Hogan) Tighe,83, passed away peacefully on November 15,2016 surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her husband Francis P. Tighe; 2 daughters LaDonna Kathleen Sanetti of Oxford and Regina Sanetti & her husband Myles Dunn of Bellingham; 2 granddaughters ; several great grandchildren; and her beloved cat B.C. .She was predeceased by a granddaughter in 2011.
Kathleen was born in New York City the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Scott) Hogan and moved to Massachusetts in 1956. In 1975 she returned to New Jersey where she lived in Union before returning to MA. in 1981.Kathleen graduated from graduated from Oak Knoll School in Summit,NJ..She worked in New York City as a accomplished model and did a brief stint on Playhouse 90. In Massachusetts she worked for several area restaurants and retired in 1987 from Bergson's 1790 House in Westboro. Mrs Tighe then went into office work as a customer service representative and an administrative assistant.
Kathleen was an avid reader; served 3 years as treasurer of the Friends of the Millbury Library and served 2 years on the Barre Finance Committee.
Friends and family are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Saturday, Demember 3,2016 from 1-3PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd. Barre.For an online tribute please visit: Pillsburyfuneralhome.com
