The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of JoAnne Valis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about the Loss of JoAnne. I spoke with her the day before her surgery, I said maybe after this surgery she would be better. I told her good luck and thought she would be home after healing a bit. I was shocked that she had passed. We all knew of her struggles and were hoping that she could go back to the way she was when she was sober. We had our group outside my back door and we all had so much fun telling jokes and dealing with Bucky...I don't know how many times he got tangled up on my little table and dumped coffees. My thoughts are with her family who we met at her 1 yr. party. I pray that she is finally at peace..flying with the angels. Think of the good times. Sandy
